At The Alternative Doula, I believe that childbirth is a normal, healthy process and that every woman or birthing person deserves the right to choose how, when, and where she or they give birth.
I support evidence-based practises and strive to provide individualised care that meets the unique needs and preferences of each family that I support.
I offer comprehensive support, childbirth education, water birth pool hire, and postpartum support services.
I work with families to provide compassionate, family-centred care throughout the entire childbirth experience.
My promise to you, is to improve your confidence.
I will help you to feel empowered and in control.
I will be there for you and someone you can trust, every step of the way on your journey to birth, through that birth and in the postnatal period.
I will be there to help you to navigate the medical system and communicate your preferences and wishes to medical professionals.
I will provide support after the birth, including breastfeeding assistance, help with household tasks where I can, and emotional support.
